Ending The Day On A High Note

Please note that, if you are in a public space and people around you are making a lot of noise such that you can’t talk, that may be annoying, or even possibly a misdemeanor.

It is NOT a violation of the First Amendment. Because that person with the megaphone is not a government official nor an agent of the government. 📢

Tough shit, loser.
Do you mean explaining that the Constitution applies to people, not only citizens? I’ll take that burden all day.

As someone else explained in the context of birthright citizenship, if “persons” only means “citizens,” then the law can’t apply to anyone in the country who is not a citizen. As birthright citizenship does not apply to diplomats and pregnant family members (or pregnant diplomats). And if the law does not apply to non-citizen persons, then they cannot be arrested or detained or forcibly deported. Or worse, they are “outlaw,” and being outside the law’s protection, cannot be protected from the deprivation of anyone. Which is why that legal status is in the dustbin of history. Because it creates so much suffering and chaos (and disease. Outlaws cannot be treated as people. There’s a major public health issue there alone.).

Be careful what you ask for.
Well, she did it anyway. She’s really going to be disappointed to learn the legal history of this country. That, or she approves of the way we treated people in the 19th century, white and non-white alike. The 14th Amendment ended a lot of that. She’s not going to undo it. A) Fiscally impossible.

B) He really is innumerate

C) Trapped forever in his own pitiful bubble.
"Learn the cliches. The cliches are your friends.”  Kevin Costner to Tim Robbins, “Bull Durham”

The “rising tide” works for people who have boats. Those who don’t? Drown, ya poor bastards!

I would just advise the NPS and the GSA to make sure the check clears before they break ground. (In fact, Congress would have to authorize this, and I don’t see that happening. For a start, how do they get Trump on the line for cost overruns (inevitable with any construction project); aside from the fact this job, if ever started, it won’t be finished before Trump’s term is over.

Whatever happened to the “free” 747 in San Antonio for a major regular engine and landing gear overhaul? Is it AF1 yet? And is there any such thing as a free lunch?

Not that I’ve ever heard of. That is a favorite promise of con men and frauds, by the way.

  1. I'm expecting Trump will further vandalize the White House as Melania did by destroying the rose garden to turn it into a funereal vista.

I don't know how it will play out but I'd love to see Abrego Garcia able to sue FOX Lies and that loon into the flames of hell. This is distraction theater to take the public's eyes off of whether or not Musk and his incel-boy army stole the Epstein files, including the reported to be thousands of hours of video, while they were pillaging the Federal Government I think Musk's bomb shell was to psych out Trump that he might have, in effect, his own pee tape.
