Bartiromo: Can you give us clarity on this meeting that apparently happened last night on the Epstein files?

Vance: There was no meeting at my house last night, there just wasn't
Bartiromo: Was there a meeting at the white house?
Vance: We did meet at the white house… pic.twitter.com/S3Y8YdBsMp
Vance: We did meet at the white house yesterday but not at the time they said we were going to meet and not about the subject they said we were going to meet about. We didn’t talk about Epstein at all.No, of course you didn’t. π
Because this is just what you thought up, on your own, in between one vacation a month since January. πVance: We know Jeffrey Epstein had a lot of connections with left-wing politicians and billionaires, and now President Trump has demanded full transparency from this, and yet somehow the Democrats are attacking him and not the Biden administration which did nothing for four years pic.twitter.com/3z0IrGBTW1

You know what would prove this, right? Say it with me: “The Epstein Files.”Vance: And it drives home how while the Democrats are tried to make this Epstein thing about anything but the fact that Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time… pic.twitter.com/0cdkKOhusN

I've heard Bill Clinton named, Bill Richardson and George Mitchell (I assume from after he was the majority leader in the Senate) and I've always said if they were guilty of child rape, lock them up and throw away the keys. I say the same thing about the far, far more credible accusations made against Trump and Randy Andy and the rest of them. I show no favor or fear. I'm a lot more afraid of innocent People being smeared by not exposing those who were involved with the Epstine-Maxwell pedophile ring than I am of some indelicate violation of the always morally compromised court procedures and other alleged legal rules. Let the rich, the white, the straight, the male and powerful get their asses out of the sling their playing with Jeffrey and Ghislane - they'll find it easier than an innocent poor person accused of some piddling little charge by some two-bit prosecutor.
ReplyDeleteThis is how complicated it is. A man who says he was Epstein’s IT/security contractor for the island says he saw Clinton have lunch there one day, w/Epstein. He also says Clinton left after lunch. Clinton denies ever being on the island. Who’s right?
ReplyDeleteBeing on the island, or on Epstein’s planes, is not evidence of statutory rape. Release of the confiscated documents requires more than just a news report (or Tweet) of “here are some names on the flight logs.” The NYT published names of prominent people in the “birthday book.” Are we to assume they were all rapists?
The J6 report was published as a book. So were the Pentagon Papers. How many people actually read them? If more had read the former, Trump probably wouldn’t be POTUS today. That said, the documents should be released, so they can be read. Few, if any, will be prosecuted (lack of evidence, mostly. Surveillance cameras are not cinematic.). Some will be tarred; but most won’t be shamed at all. Except maybe Trump….
i was rather shocked that Noam Chomsky was one of them. I assume Epstein funded some of his research at one point. As Virgil Thomson once noted, money doesn't have any particular stink to it.
DeleteEpstein played the public role of a philanthropist, and the private role of a pedophile. I don’t think everyone he knew was involved in both worlds. That way lies MAGA and Q conspiracy theories. But at this point, Trump has fucked things up do badly we need “truth and reconciliation” to restore normalcy. I don’t think anyone is going to seriously think Chomsky was a closet pedophile, but I also think very rich people cultivating very public people is not a free lunch. Caveat emptor. In an unjust system, you gotta watch your ass.
