It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview. And it would be easier if we had serious people to vote for:
The Trump Administration is starting to understand why it got elected. It’s purely because he fucked up so badly the first time, that he was thrown out. Biden was the garbage man, but nobody praises the guy who clears away the garbage. So the majority shrugged and said, “Why not?”Peter Navarro: "They want to blame Donald Trump for what is Biden legacy inflation" pic.twitter.com/9HN7H8YCpb

And all the gossip that is campaign coverage: Trump playing music at a rally for 90 minutes; Trump showing his ignorant ass in debates; even Trump getting shot. Let’s face it, Trump’s campaign was one of the worst, least effective affairs I’ve ever seen. And I remember George McGovern’s run in ‘72. According to the campaign managers and consultants and pundits and Very Serious Thinkers, Trump should have lost. But voters didn’t pay attention to his campaign.
I honestly wonder how often they do.
Either way, people voted for Trump to fix this shit. Biden told people his legislation was working, and it was. But people can’t eat statistics and jobs reports and declining inflation numbers. Now Trump has a mouthful of excuses. And the same problems that cost Biden his job, are costing Trump. Except Trump U.S. making out like a bandit (literally), and the people are, once again, being robbed.
This is not the time for schadenfreude.
