The Ukraine-Russia energy ceasefire announced by President Trump today referred to a potential deal that would have Ukraine and Russia halt strikes on each other’s oil refineries -Axios Ukraine does not have any fully functional oil refineries at the moment.

IOW, Russia will supply somebody.Following U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s announcement that Russia will begin a tiered diesel supply system, the subsequent OFAC sanctions waiver that was issued, and doubt that Russia will be able to supply what was agreed, the Kremlin has responded, claiming that “there is no problem with demand in the markets.”
