Just a reminder

Senator Rand Paul has tested positive for COVID-19. He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person.

If Rand Paul were an ordinary citizen living in Houston, Texas, he couldn't get tested for the coronavirus without going to his private physician (and even then?).

I guess life is sometimes just like that, huh?  It says something about why everyone should be tested (pace, Dr. Fauci).

Sen. Paul was asymptomatic and yet still infected.  The testing regimen in this country is positively Kafkaesque; and a danger to public health.
