Sure, Michael Moore Says The Same Thing…

...and nobody notices. But say it on Twitter... Based on what? Polls? Might as well examine chicken entrails and consult tea leaves.

Every two years political pundits predict the election months in advance; and then the polls “tighten;” and then the voters upset all predictions (except the exit polls, sometimes) at the actual polls and the pundits depend on the fact no one remembers what the last polls said, and the outcome is an “upset” because the polls were wrong again go unmentioned until January, when the whole business begins again as if we were all geese and it was a brand new world with no polling history.

And of course voters who have heard about nothing but the threat to democracy and who actually waited four years to correct the mistake of Donald Trump, and are less than 5 months away from Dobbs (which no Republican, not even Herschel Walker, wants to talk about), and who are heartily sick of Trump (even Republicans) will only vote on the headlines or gas prices and since Dobbs is not in the headlines and Trump is…what choice do they have but to not vote for Democrats or to reject Trump and the party he’s turned the GOP into?

Because asking the same question if random groups of people will always solicit the same answers, unless they don’t because different people the polls are “tightening.”

Right?

Addendum: you could reduce this tweet to three words and lose nothing:
"Polls are tightening."
