6th Amendment: “the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed.” https://t.co/ckzxsN1TGN
His quibble that DC “isn’t a state” is also handled in the Constitution, Art. 3 Sec. 2: “but when not committed within any state, the trial shall be at such place or places as the Congress may by law have directed.”

Laws have long said, crimes by out-of-towners are tried in DC.
Yeah, this guy’s appeal has already failed.I mean, what next? Somebody takes a trip from Arkansas to DC, robs a liquor store while they’re in town, then hire this lawyer to insist it has to be tried back in Arkansas?
