I Remember Watergate 🌞

Haldeman and Ehrlichmann and even John Mitchell went to jail, and I don’t remember that they ever testified against Nixon. G. Gordon Liddy spouted Nietzsche and, reportedly, held his hand in a candle flame to prove his resolve. He went to jail, came out, got a radio program (no podcasts in the ‘70’s, and Rush Limbaugh was yet to be heard from). He continued to defend Nixon for as long as anyone would pay attention, and never wavered in proclaiming he was right.

You know, there really isn’t anything new under the sun.
