In one respect, Trump's strategy is successful. Everyone is talking about his temper tantrums, instead of talking about his commissions of fraud and that he is a cheat. He's already lost the merits of the case, so this is his best play.Or something:
That is one of the things that really made Trump fly off the handle," Jarrett said. "He pointed at him, screaming at him. 'You called me a fraud! You don't even know me!' Again, the judge didn't call him a fraud, but he did say that the state has produced enough evidence that he is liable for fraud under New York law."I think there is a profound problem for some people to see plainly that the former POTUS is not a normal 77 year old man, but rather emotionally a spoiled 5 year old with a limited and now diminished mental capacity who can only understand the world in terms of what others think of him.
There’s no planning here. None. At all. Not even feral cunning. He’s just deficient, by whatever mental or emotional measures you want to apply. If his children weren’t cut from the same cloth, they’d have put him into a guardianship by now.
And I think things are going to drastically change when Trump can’t get rid of the monitors and receivers who will be running his companies by early next year. By summer of next year he’ll likely be a convicted felon as well as effectively bankrupt. What clever scheme does he employ then to distract from his fraud and his felonies?
I’m sure some pundits will give him credit for something.
