I’m not concerned with NYT complicity in the Trump 2016 campaign (8 years ago; NYT complicity in 2024 is already plain as day). I’m interested in the repetition of the 2016 campaign 8 years later.

No wonder Trump is flailing. Immigration is no longer producing “caravans,” nor even heavy crowds at the border. Trump is tied as tightly to killing the border bill as he is to Project 2025. And he’s reduced to claiming government economic figures are “fake.” And that Biden is doing what he did:
