B) I’m old enough to remember when Charlie Pierce regularly labeled Sen. Cotton a”bobble throated slap dick.” It’s still the right label.
He's just another degenerate, opportunistic, Republican-fascist liar. They all are. It's notable when they're telling the truth which is a rarity, not when they're telling the worst and most transparent of lies. Cotton - don't forget, someone the NYT thought was worth putting on its op-ed page as he lied his head off - has ambitions to be president. And there's no reason to believe the media wouldn't make him one.
