weird how masculinity is innate and natural but there are a million accounts on here dictating the specific ways masculinity is allowed to be expressed

His girlfriend is wearing a bandanna (effectively, in more than one sense of that term), so he is, too. Yet at least one reply on Twitter tried to call Talarico “gay” for the neckerchief (that’s what we called it in Boy Scouts). I caught a rerun of “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” where Steve McQueen was wearing one (in costume). I never thought of Steve McQueen as coding “gay.”Now it's your turn, @LindseyGrahamSC https://t.co/vHI08VcPkg

This crap is burning up its 15 minutes.
There is a definite tendency of gay men to "read" the likes of McQueen as "gay" out of wishful thinking. I get the feeling that for lots of MAGAt men this is something like that. Considering how many of the ones who go on and on about how heterosexual they are and the duty to procreate seem to be steppin' out with the boys in that particular direction.
