Unless…

Bold talk for an unelected official:

Blanche spoke Wednesday on Fox News, where host Dana Perino asked when the legal fight would be resolved so the ballroom could be finished. The attorney general served as Trump's personal defense attorney before taking the Justice Department's second-highest job, and he now oversees the lawyers defending the project.

"But yes, we're gonna continue to build the ballroom," Blanche told Fox News.
The next Congress could easily declare any government expenditure on the ballroom verboten, and require all above ground construction cease, and all above ground structures be removed.

Roberts didn’t give Trump the authority to do whatever-the-fuck he wants to on the White House grounds. Congress still holds the whip hand, and signs are they are going to reclaim it.
