Let's see: Texas is sending 250 troops in the next 72 hours; Arizona is going to deploy 150 troops. That leaves New Mexico and California. The length of the river in Texas, as an international border, is between 889 miles and 1248 miles (don't ask; I don't understand it, either). The Arizona/Mexico border is 389 miles. So anywhere from 1200 to 1600 miles of border will be "seal[ed] up" by the presence of 400 Guardsman who really can only do clerical work. Yeah, one extra person incapable of making an arrest or even a detention for every 300-400 miles, is gonna keep the elephants away.
For sure.
This will definitely cut down on all the rapes that Trump is so worried about. But will he deploy the Guard to NYC to protect his Tower from fires clearly set by M-13?
