By way of explanation:Obviously Biden's bounce is the big news in the several polls out this morning but some other themes too:— Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) April 30, 2019
* Mayyyybe a little momentum for Warren?
* Pretty bad numbers for Bernie. Polling in the mid-teens with 100% name recognition is not very good.
* Buttigieg momentum slows?
Begun, the conspiracy has...CNN 2020 Democratic poll:— Josh Jordan (@NumbersMuncher) April 30, 2019
Biden 39
Bernie 15
Warren 8
Buttigieg 7
Beto 6
Harris 5
None of the other 4,000 candidates top 2%
Biden jumped 11 points after announcing his candidacy in the CNN poll, which is troublesome for Bernie who didn't get that kind of bounce.
Last night I saw either real Bernie Bros or Republican-fascist proocateur trolls as Bernie Bros trying to relitigate the 2016 nomination fight all over again even as Bernie signed onto the Indivisible pledge for a constructive nominations period.
ReplyDeleteI wish Indivisible had requested they all agreed to release a full, credible medical assessment of their health before 2020 starts. I suspect it might knock out the top two who shouldn't be running. It's insane to have two guys who will turn 80 during the next term of the presidency are running to unseat someone who may already be in the throes of dementia (though, it being Trump, how could you tell).
