Bottom line here — and I don’t say this lightly or without the backing of undeniable evidence, much of it laid out here by @maggieNYT and @jmartNYT:— Ron Fournier (@ron_fournier) June 24, 2020
Our president is a racist. https://t.co/fYZ4Prg8w0
....but what was your first clue?
And while I realize this is news reporting, which is a bit different from just spouting an opinion:
“Answering to his own instincts and what he thinks ‘my people’ want, as he often puts it to advisers, the president is exploiting racial divisions in a way that appeals to only a segment of his party.” @maggieNYT @jmartNYT— Julie Davis (@juliehdavis) June 24, 2020

We're four years in, and nothing has changed since 2016 when Trump's approval ratings went underwater and never resurfaced. So: same question: what was your first clue? Charlottesville? When he came down the escalator and denounced Mexicans as rapists? When he and his father lost the case against the government to keep blacks out of their buildings? When he started forcing the border wall on landowners in Texas who fought against it?
How long have you been asleep?
