Our Coronavirus testing is so much greater (25 million tests) and so much more advanced, that it makes us look like we have more cases, especially proportionally, than other countries. My message on that is very clear!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 22, 2020
Trump keeps saying things like this.* All it does, like his relentless campaign to promote Biden's book:
Trump remains his enemies' greatest booster - Bolton's viewership for his ABC special last night w Raddatz was roughly 6 million, or, put another way, about double what Trump got for a special with ABC last year.— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) June 22, 2020
and now his niece's:
The world’s greatest book publicist strikes again. https://t.co/cdxVcqB9RB— Eric Columbus (@EricColumbus) June 21, 2020
is return attention to what he said:
This is an admission of such an outrageous crime and abuse of power that no one would even write a law to cover it.— David Atkins (@DavidOAtkins) June 21, 2020
There may not be a law in the law books to cover it, but it absolutely rises to an impeachable offense. https://t.co/o36LJ0YAE5
But I'm happy for him to keep reminding us of that. Even when he doesn't want to.
Directly asked the question, did you ask to slow it down, Trump does not answer, and instead says if testing got slowed down, frankly that would be a good thing. https://t.co/1wxUkfsSln— S.V. Dáte (@svdate) June 22, 2020
*25 milllion tests is under 8% of the U.S. population. 8% of anything is still nothing, especially since we lead the world in covid-19 related deaths, with almost 1/4 of the world's total deaths. This is not only sad, it's completely innumerate.
