Because I've been in Costco a lot, and never seen 850 people in the store at once, much less all munching on chicken taquitos (or anything, for that matter)? And Costco is still requiring members to wear masks, and last time I was there wasn't any offering of samples because of that (which made for a more orderly Costco, actually). And who the hell spends 4 hours in Costco? Much less in a restaurant?
Or maybe it's because people in restaurants sit very close to the other tables, because otherwise the restaurant can't make money? Hey, you know what?

4 hours in a store with 850 chicken guzzling people and I thought of a nightmare of being trapped underground was bad.
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be a shit-show when the pandemic comes back, which it seems to be even before the "first wave" hit shore. I am expecting a full blown depression worse than the last one which was caused by money men, this one is going to have multiple causes of far deeper depravity. I would bet that young people today are going to have to reproduce what our parents generation experienced and far worse. I hope they don't have to fight fascism like they did, though it looks like they might have to.
