At this point you could drop a ten ton safe on the GOP, and they still wouldn’t acknowledge reality. Some of them still believe “Benghazi” was real (the fake scandal, not the event). When it comes to the January 6th Select Committee, all Democrats have to do is show the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Republicans know that, and they’re terrified of it. It’s time to find out why.

Roy Cohn. Rudy Giuliani. Lin Wood. Sydney Powell. Whoever is representing Mike Lindell. The guy who filed a "Lord of the Rings" pleading. Ken Paxton. Too many of them are members of the State Bar of Texas. They should be disbarred, on pretty much the grounds Giuliani will be. I’m not holding my breath, however. In other words, the costs to making poor arguments and false claims are high for lawyers: At *best* your case will get thrown out of court. At worst, you’ll be sanctioned, disbarred, or go to jail. The professions aligns the incentives to promote the rule of law

Yeah, but "He was no Roy Cohn or John Mitchell” is the faintest praise possible. So, still damning. I wouldn’t mind seeing Barr disbarred, either. The grounds are as sufficient as those for Giuliani.Barr’s rectitude on Dec. 1 doesn’t excuse his kowtowing to Trump or his politicization of DOJ. And his public statement that DOJ found no real electoral fraud was politically motivated. But he did the right thing when he rejected Trump's claims in the end. https://t.co/4BmXa16MBO
