I Thought The "Alternative Conservative Media" Was Called "Facebook"

I dunno, that's just what I heard.

Let's see:  Musk buying Twitter is not yet a foregone conclusion.  If he does, his financing plan will probably crash it.

Trump's platform is about to close down.  The only significant thing it did was put Parler in its shade.  Ye may buy Parler, but he's buying a pig in a poke.

Rumble?  Never heard of it. Maybe Thiel can operate it from Malta after he decides the apocalypse is upon America and it's time to flee.

Does no one remember the lesson of MySpace?  Or Bing?  Musk is more likely to cripple Twitter with the debt he creates buying it (does no one remember the 90's, either?).  If Musk lets the anti-semites and skin-heads loose on Twitter, will the Twitterati even notice?  Unless one of those is named "Donald Trump," I almost guarantee they won't.  Besides, about 25% of the people on Twitter create 80% of the tweets; the rest of us are just reading them.  Always room for a few racists, eh?  It's a free country.

I'm just sayin' I don't think returning even Trump to Twitter is going to make the rest of us go to Rumble.  The upside would be if everyone on Twitter went back to reading something that was more than 150 characters long.

It could happen! [Narrator:  No, it couldn't.]
