Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem.

"Lunged at her”? If you can identify even what part of the room Sec. Noem was standing in, or how close the Senator was to her, you have better eyes than I do."I'M SENATOR ALEX PADILLA"

SECRET SERVICE AGENT: Quiet down and identify yourself, sir!!!
A Senate security pin is a physical pin, like a lapel pin, that identifies a person as a member of the U.S. Senate or an authorized person with Senate access. These pins are often used to facilitate security checks and access to areas within the U.S. Capitol complex.Pretty sure the U.S. Capitol complex doesn’t extend to the federal building in LA.
DHS is also lying about him being repeatedly told to back away. The video shows the men who pushed him don’t even open their mouths, they just grab him and get them out of the room without saying a word.
Noem’s theater is, by definition, “respectful.”“theatre” https://t.co/3T4phkLnIB pic.twitter.com/8IuKTzYRGl

Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."I wonder why DHS didn’t provide that context on Twitter? You can also see in that video where Noem was, and how far away Padilla was.
Sen. Alex Padilla is then forcibly removed!
🚨 Secretary Noem basically said that her agency is now dedicated to forcible regime change…in American cities and states.I want to see the GOP senators and representatives defend this language.
There 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 a 👏🏽 name 👏🏽 for 👏🏽 this
