Evening WrapUp

The hateful rhetoric of the Democrats? Please.

Let’s talk about what’s really fueling violence in this country—straight from Republicans and the right:

•Trump telling the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

•Kari Lake joking about using guns if elections don’t go their way.

•Paul Pelosi, nearly killed with a hammer in his own home, and Republicans laughed about it at rallies.

•Marjorie Taylor Greene liking posts about executing Democratic officials.

•Jesse Watters and Tucker Carlson pushing “great replacement” conspiracies that inspire shooters.

•Trump posting about a “bloodbath” if he loses.

•J.D. Vance dismissing political violence as “overblown” while defending Trump.

•Matt Gaetz openly encouraging armed militias.

•Kari Lake, again, joking “if you want to get to Trump, you have to get through me—and I’ve got 2nd Amendment rights.”

That’s not Democratic rhetoric. That’s Republican leaders mainstreaming hate, violence, and conspiracies. And everyone sees it.
