What the honest fuck do those two empty heads know about conducting, much less overseeing, a manhunt?

I’m reminded of some advice I read in the’60’s (or probably early ‘70’s, when the “summer of love” had become the violent winter of our political discontent. It (Watch Chayefsky’s “Network.” Or “Hospital.” All that violence is a mirror of ‘70’s reality.) The advice had to do with Hoover’s the entire FBI was Hoover’s in those days) “10 Most Wanted” list. 

Anyone on that list, the argument went, was soon to be arrested. The higher on the list they were, the more likely the incipient arrest. Made sense; the list was all about PR.

So is this little stunt. But it’s even more ham-handed than Hoover’s control over “The FBI TV series, where Efram Zimbalist, Jr. always portrayed the FBI in the best light possible.
