The grift, in other words, goes on.Still not a mention of a new president, or his name. Just new administration. https://t.co/eBF3sg6E4Q

Which won't win him any more love from his supporters, many of which will be in jail soon (seriously).“Trump was warned the pardons he once hoped to bestow upon his family and even himself would place him in a legally perilous position, convey the appearance of guilt and potentially make him more vulnerable to reprisals.” https://t.co/0LRwdSdjzG

Trump is taking care of Trump on the way out the door, and that behavior is not exactly calculated to win friends and influence people; at least not in Trump's favor. There is widespread concern in Trump-world about legal exposure related to the Jan. 6 rally before the riot, including for those who gave speeches, organized or fundraised for it. No pardons are currently expected for people involved. https://t.co/hWKtrGwn19

Not for nothing but this is the image Trump will see when he leaves the White House for the final time Wednesday morning. Have a feeling Trump will be incensed he never had anything as striking, poignant & well executed during his entire presidency pic.twitter.com/fQGZ4kNc2L

I'm sure he was looking forward to doing that stupid Apprentice show again. I would guess that he's already been told that the insurrection will, sort of, put a damper on sponsors so, no show.
ReplyDeleteWhen Milton Berle's act got too old for him to sustain his previous career he did a bowling show. I've seen one of them on YouTube. If it had been someone who was funny it would have been sad, instead it was just Uncle Milty. I don't suppose Trump's style would be suitable for golf commentary. I've only been subjected to TV golf coverage once, my great uncle Al watched it. I went out to watch the grass grow.
Trump cheats sat golf. This is well known. That makes him as popular with golfers as a drunk among Southern Baptists. Besides, his commentary would be all about how he did that better on his course, which is better, too.
