I’ve heard people saying restaurants can’t find staff because of unemployment. My friend quit her job at Olive Garden because an anti-mask customer screamed at her masked co-worker, until a manager intervened. It had happened multiple times before that final incident. https://t.co/7KZSPsCrki

Sorry, America. I became a Christian in college watching my mom change into a compassionate, humble believer full of joy and sacrificial love—part of a band of radical believers who would (like Christ) risk everything, even their own lives, to save the lost and the vulnerable.

I don’t recognize this monstrous, ungodly nonsense. It’s everything the Bible warns against: selfish, stubborn, slanderous, divisive, ignorant, strange, profane, without restraint, hysterical—self-righteous nutcases who would scream at a young adult IN AN OLIVE GARDEN. C’mon now.

A young woman I know just quit her job at a local high-price restaurant because she was being treated badly and it sort of led to four other people quitting the same place because they don't have to work for people who are treating them badly. The bosses are more interested in their ability to lord it over their employees and act like jerks than they are in keeping their place going. That kind of thing seems to happen a lot in the restaurant and bar business around here. A lot of them go under pretty quick.
