I Guess It’s The Optics

Ignore Sen. Kennedy’s stupid analogy; I posted this for the image.

These people are being staged there by the CBP. They are not overrunning the border, they are being held there because facilities are swamped. Many of them are Haitians, fleeing political calamity and natural disaster. Many of the rest have been doing the same.

That picture is the government trying to help people. The bridge provides at least some shade.

Sen. Kennedy seems to be of the GOP persuasion that government shouldn’t help people at all.
