Texas wouldn’t do it. Period. ( Much as I wish they would.)  But if they did close the Polunsky unit, the state would either:

A) bulldoze it.

B) turn it into a slaughterhouse to replace the prison rodeo.

C) Turn it into a museum, to preserve the “good old days.”

Create a “positive, healing environment”? What are we? California?
