I was remarking to the Golden Child just yesterday that once not so long ago we had Bill Gates and Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak (the real tech genius of the three), men who knew how to build companies using tech.

Now we have Elmo and crypto con-men and techbros.

Once: giants (say what you want about Gates, Jobs, etc.  They knew what they were doing.)  Now?  Children wearing their father's clothes.

Eh; could be worse, I guess.  They could be in government.
