This is so pathetic it’s barely even funny.

I will say in terms of the politics, and this is a cynical point of view, but I think some Americans are drawing this conclusion that President Biden and President Trump have a codependency," Kennedy told Fox News on Wednesday. "President Biden wants President Trump as an opponent because, given President Biden's poll numbers, he polls right up there with Bud Light." 

He thinks that going Biden believes Biden believes he has a better chance at beating Trump than other possible Republican nominees. 

"I think the Justice Department is going to do pretty much what at the senior levels, whatever they can to make sure that President Trump is the nominee, because that's who President Biden wants," he added.

Yeah: “Some people say.” And because that's what Trump would do if he’d just thought of it in 2019? And what does that conspiracy theory do to this reality?

I mean, that’s in their pleadings. Not to discount Ms. Haberman’s reporting, because it confirms the public record. Trump is running because he knew he faced multiple indictments, and he knew if he couldn’t fend the DOJ off as a presidential candidate, he could as a re-elected president. It’s his only chance.

And it’s the DOJ under Biden who wants him to be the GOP candidate?

This is where I remind you the Senator was a Rhodes Scholar. A reminder that intelligence and education are no guarantee of sound reasoning.
