Aside from sickle cell anemia, more prevalent in people of African ancestry, and Ashkenazi Jews, I don’t know of biological “ethnic” or racial differences between people, especially with reference to vulnerability to disease. So I’m perplexed how “ethnically targeted bio weapons” would work.

My paternal grandfather's family thoughtfully gave us some Ashkenazi genes, as our DNA tests confirm. We got COVID in the very first wave, and picked up Omicron. If we actually had the ability to target Ashkenazi genes, we could eliminate lactose intolerance for a great many of us and change the course of human history.
ReplyDeleteRFKjr. is a sucker for a very stupid and very old fashioned view of genetic inheritance and plain old fashioned myths of "ethic purity." There is no such thing that such a sy-fi weapon could be made to do what that idiot lawyer-liar imagines. I do think a lot of it is more properly laid at low-grade sy-fi than the already naive 20th century science which is in serious need of passing the way of Go-go Boots.
