TeeVee Law

Fani Wallis worked with two grand juries. It took over two years to assemble a case against 19 defendants. Some charges were not brought because the actions didn’t occur in Georgia (jurisdiction), which makes those ripe for federal prosecution.

Jack Smith brought a charges against Trump alone in D.C. to get his trial scheduled ASAP. He had to begin his work after the J6 committee finished, and after the Supreme Court told Trump to stop claiming executive privilege because he was no longer President. Not to mention all the obstruction in Florida (there’s a reason obstruction is illegal), as well as the fact Smith had to use a second grand jury in Florida to bring the case where venue lies

“Slow start?” Trump now faces four criminal trials and 91 total counts. I’d much rather those counts are backed by thorough investigations; and those take time.

Slow and steady wins these races.
