The behavior of Trump & Vance was a complete disgrace and represents a sad day for America.

President Zelensky continues to show remarkable strength and dignity under exceptionally difficult circumstances. https://t.co/Wi9B7AmtOW
Some want to whitewash the truth, but we cannot ignore the truth. Russia is at fault for this war. https://t.co/ZWgTpTwSvv

President Trump and Vice President Vance's belittling treatment of President Zelenskyy today was a disgrace. The American people stand with the people of Ukraine, even if our president would rather curry favor with Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, and echo Russian talking points. https://t.co/dxKMhAxCrm

The President of the United States—the leader of the free world—just chastised a staunch U.S. ally and democratically-elected foreign leader for defending his country against a brutal dictator. And he did it in the Oval Office.

Embarrassing and dangerous. https://t.co/Ay11jckjKS
Zelenskyy flew to Washington, but he walked into the Kremlin. https://t.co/aVoqVL3tUU

Admittedly, I don’t mind non-officeholders chiming in:This is the most embarrassing and shameful moment I’ve ever witnessed from the Oval Office.
— Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (@repcleaver) February 28, 2025
American leadership publicly siding with a Dictator in Vladimir Putin and berating a democratic friend in Ukraine will not be forgotten by any nation around the world. https://t.co/LLkp4H8cmn
Generations of American patriots, from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy is risking his life to defend. But today, Donald Trump and JD Vance attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to the KGB war criminal who… https://t.co/oMoWZ7FmBL

Phony friendliness and behind-the-scenes treachery from Trump and Vance would have been much more dangerous to the cause of freedom in Ukraine than the self-exposure by both men.

Don't just say it all on Twitter. Not that I don’t like it better than what Lindsey said. This was embarrassing. It was an ambush of President Zelenskyy. Trump won't answer the question because Putin will not honor the ceasefire. It's not in his interest to do so but it is in Trump's to act like an assclown for Putin in one of the most embarrassing oval office… https://t.co/UR6GvrjiTF
— Michael Steele (@MichaelSteele) February 28, 2025
Yeah, that's what's going on in Moscow.Lindsey Graham says he told Trump that his interaction with Zelenskyy was the best television he has ever seen.. “I think that Moscow is more afraid than ever” pic.twitter.com/Ej8hFVmHND

Much more likely. They’re breaking out the good Vodka at the Kremlin tonight. https://t.co/yX8asCLcri

I don’t want any head of state to be a “business partner” with the U.S. We don’t do “business” that way. The government negotiates trade agreements which private interests make use of. The POTUS is not America’s CEO. The U.S. is not in “business.” The U.S. government was not going to open mines in Ukraine. The U.S. government was not going to sell those rare earth minerals on the open market. Hell’s bells, that’s socialism!! People like Graham are supposed to be deathly afraid of that concept, even that word!*Lindsey Graham: Americans witnessing what they saw today would not want Zelenskyy to be their business partner including me. I've never been more proud of Trump for showing the American people and the world, you don't trifle that this man. Vance was awesome pic.twitter.com/SEBPQwrM22

How dare Zelensky tell Trump his metaphor makes no sense? Such disrespect! 🙄 And everybody’s overlooking this:Trump: You don’t have the cards
— Acyn (@Acyn) February 28, 2025
Zelenskyy: I’m not playing cards
Trump: You’re playing cards
Zelenskyy: What are you talking about? pic.twitter.com/zthuu7Wu8u
Trump and Putin are BFF’s. Foxhole friends for life. The POTUS just said so. And Lindsey says what Zelensky said was outrageous.Trump to a reporter who asks him about Russia breaking a ceasefire: "What if a bomb drops on your head right now ... Putin went through a hell of a lot with me. He went through a phony witch hunt." pic.twitter.com/7Z1IdNvMcr
