ew:
Back on April 21, Tulsi Gabbard accused those who leaked the NIE on Venezuela's ties to Tren de Aragua of lying abt the intel. It took the IC just 10 days to turn around a @laurenleharper.bsky.social FOIA proving that TULSI was the one lying. Also, too, as well:
Then, today, WSJ has a report that Tulsi has asked the IC to start collecting to support regime change in Greenland.I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Tulsi’s not happy:
Gonna go out on a limb and say the spooks really aren't enamored of their lying scheming boss.
In a statement to the outlet, Gabbard said, “The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of aiding deep state actors who seek to undermine the President by politicizing and leaking classified information. They are breaking the law and undermining our nation’s security and democracy.”I guess she didn’t address that whole FOIA thing. 10 day turnaround? Imagine that… 🤔
The journal quoted multiple sources in their report.
They also spoke with one former intelligence official who said, “Intelligence collection resources are inherently limited,” and these resources are typically directed to pay attention to “perceived threats, not allied countries.”
