...the only way to go is down.Bernie Sanders takes a lead:— Lisa Mascaro (@LisaMascaro) April 8, 2019
No other declared candidate in the crowded Dem field has amassed so many advantages: $28m war chest, a loyal/enthusiastic voter base and a set of clearly defined policy objectives, write @jmsummers & @jpaceDC https://t.co/7zux5CoSsO
No votes counted, not even a straw poll conducted; but we have a front runner.
And the Bernie Bros. will cry "foul!" the moment that lead fails to appear.
I want to know where the money came from (from ALL of the candidates) and I want Bernie Sanders to release his tax records, which he guards only somewhat less than Trump does.
ReplyDeleteBernie Sanders is set to play Ralph Nader again, he is dead to me.
His supporters (per a TPM article) are still butt-hurt over the 2016 primaries, and ready to bolt again (or stay home) if Bernie isn't the candidate.
ReplyDeleteThey're as bad as Trump supporters; and, again per the TPM article, Bernie does as little as Trump to disengage from them. I dunno, maybe he won't really be a force this time around (far too early to tell; and "front runners" usually lose that status rapidly and permanently, especially in such a crowded field). It's the horse race coverage I resent, as much as anything.
