Jacobs with a perfect tweet https://t.co/aHzafnbYXc— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) July 1, 2020
Funny he has absolutely nothing to say about it.
The president has posted 17 tweets this morning and not a single one of them even alludes to the pandemic that has now killed 129,000 Americans and counting— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) July 1, 2020
When forced to speak about it, though, he is "indomitable."
This conversation took place ... checks notes ... today. https://t.co/OiJUUxxAfB— Shannon Watts (@shannonrwatts) July 1, 2020
If by that you mean "impervious to reality."
And a "Marxist organization"? That's a dog whistle only octagenarians can hear.
Trump does seem very concerned about statues, though:
Agency created in the wake of 9-11 to protect U.S. from terrorist attacks, natural disasters, cyber attacks, enforce/regulate immigration policies creates task force to guard monuments and statues. pic.twitter.com/sgX5sTBGnr— Zolan Kanno-Youngs (@KannoYoungs) July 1, 2020
I do wonder if the "indomitable" President will find time to tweet about this:
Some news that would have been unimaginable a few months ago...— Yashar Ali 🐘 (@yashar) July 1, 2020
GOP Senators @RonJohnsonWI and @jameslankford are proposing an amendment to Texas Senator @JohnCornyn's bill to make Juneteenth a federal holiday
Their amendment would remove Columbus Day as a federal holiday
Or do you suppose those Senators are Marxists, too?
Don't forget that a statue dragged Don Juan down to hell. Trump may have other reasons for keeping an eye on 'em.
