It sure as hell isn't buying him any improvement in the polls. I am reminded of John Connolly, who ran for the GOP nomination in 1980 (Yes, I am old, get offa mah lawn, ya punks!). He had the biggest, richest warchest of any candidate, and rolled into the convention with 1 delegate to his name.
A reminder Trump has always been able to fleece the rubes, and that rubes come in all socioeconomic classes.
By the way, Brad:
We’re still crunching the numbers, but here’s what we know:— Jen O'Malley Dillon (@jomalleydillon) July 2, 2020
-We raised🚨 $141 million 🚨in June
-68% of our donors were new
-We added 2.6 million people to our list
-$282.1 million for the quarter
There’s real, grassroots energy for Joe. 💪💪💪
More to come....
Gonna have to run faster to catch up.
Much faster. The president had two in-person fundraisers last month. Biden did not have any. https://t.co/NVszZrP4LU— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) July 2, 2020
