...to charge people for interstate travel with the intent to commit crimes. Or to make a federal case out of someone travelling between states with criminal intent. You know, like a conspiracy, or something. And maybe a federal government to prosecute it.

Soup, man. Much worse than a rifle bullet. Besides, Rittenhouse was part of a "well-ordered militia." His lawyer said so! (Again: the 2nd Amendment says you can keep the gun, and carry the gun; it doesn't say you can use the gun.)
