The ideals she supports are the exception, not the rule with the Supreme Court. The corruption, partisanship, class privileging, racial inequality promoting, etc. are the norm for the Supreme Court. I would really like to talk to her about the fact that all of its members have been appointed by individual men, some of them as corrupt as they come, as a starting point of the discussion of the real nature of that anti-democratic body. No doubt her ideals would make it a lot better than it is but the reality is that what it always has been should have made it the target of skepticism and a real, binding set of ethical practices.
