Should Jon Stewart Run for President in 2028?It’s August, in a year following a Presidential election and prior to a mid-term campaign. All the loonies come out to play in the electoral fields and summer heat before everybody goes back to work in the fall.

(Kinky Friedman ran for governor of Texas once. I almost voted for him, because the Democratic candidate didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell, so why not? His campaign was amusing, for a bit. Then he tried to get serious, and I knew voting for the Democrat was the right thing to do. Reagan was an entertainer. Except I never found him all that entertaining….)
