Does Gaetz understand the Democrats and 5 Republicans could elect a Speaker? If the fight goes on for only a week, I suspect 5 could be found.
Or the House could just go into recess for two years, while the GOP fights over who’s in control.
This is your reminder “Speaker of the House” is a constitutionally established office and third person in line to the Presidency.
