I’m pretty sure what Sen. Tuberville is doing isn’t based on a clause in Art. I. Which means it’s a Senate rule he’s using; it worse, just a Senate tradition.

Which also means the Senate could tell Tuberville to pound sand, and bypass his hold. This is not something the Supreme Court has to settle. It’s something only the Senate can settle.

They aren’t helpless.
