Likewise, Trump has never won "working class voters." He wins white working class voters.

Pitting poor(er) whites against everybody else, especially people even poorer than them (and keeping them from noticing the wealthy are screwing them blind) is so American it might as well be in the Constitution.

Right next to racism; which IS in the constitution (we had to amend it out and then declare it never belonged there. Something else the Roberts Court finds embarrassingly inconvenient.) Well, class was there, too (only white male landowners could vote), so … yeah.
