Welcome to Donald Trump's economy.
So. Much. Winning.

Welker: Is it ok in the short term to have a recession?

Trump: Yeah. Everything is ok. pic.twitter.com/vxFnmE9HtD
I don’t really care about the red v. whatever color, but why do these people not understand what pronouns are?At least we know that a red lightsaber means the person is the bad guy. pic.twitter.com/JdbfwS0oq7

Apparently the GOP default now is to go full authoritarian. It’s an interesting electoral choice; let’s see where it gets them.Things are going sideways at Republican House Rep. Mike Lawler’s town hall as he’s having women forcibly removed by the police.

Bro thinks he’s gonna run for governor of New York and he can’t handle a few older ladies?pic.twitter.com/3EGePy8XqE
Warnock: Georgia officials said they were sorry but their hands were tied, you can’t vote the first weekend of the runoff after the holiday so I decided to untie them, I sued them. And I won… They appealed asking for emergency relief. Emergency relief from what? People voting? pic.twitter.com/aqAK4r9283

Warnock: I don’t know how anybody can be apathetic after what we’re going through right now. We say elections have consequences. That ain’t a slogan right about now. We’re living that reality. Here I am doing everything I can with the tools that I have but tools are not the… pic.twitter.com/YxWxa72xzG

It looks like the Rev. Sen. Warnock didn’t have to eject anyone.Warnock: Don’t lecture to me about meritocracy while I witness you nominate the most unfit unqualified people we’ve ever seen.

You cannot lecture me about merit while nominating Pete Hegseth… pic.twitter.com/3AQ9J5FjjE
Which allows me to introduce this:If Trump is serious about tariffs on movies, it's a very dangerous escalation. Tariffs have not traditionally been applied to services, and the United States is a massive net exporter of services. We would be extremely vulnerable to any service-based retaliation. https://t.co/iKwTHMPl5M

CROSBY, STILLS, AND NASH ARE ALL AMERICA NEEDS BUT IF YOU INSIST ON YOUNG YOU GET TARIFFED. UNLESS NEIL YOUNG BECOMES OUR CHERISHED 51ST STATE.And this:
ALL FLEETWOOD MAC SONGS THAT DO NOT FEATURE A STEVIE NICKS LEAD VOCAL ARE NOW TARIFFED AT 250%
Are the myriads of small businesses that will go bust in the next few months required to do that, too?
ReplyDeleteWhat's it going to do to the movie distribution networks if they have to start charging for people to watch brit-crap movies and TV shows? You deprive people of that stuff you're going to get a revolution faster than you can imagine. I imagine Russia Today will be exempt from such media tariffs.
Boy, when Democrats get the chance I bet the repeal of that presidential tariff authority is going to set records for speed.
