Ya don’t say.Walz on Trump saying he's not familiar with Melissa Hortman's assassination: "Nothing surprises me. There's no compassion, there's no empathy in this man, and there's no sense of governing for the whole country ... he's doing nothing to improve people's lives." pic.twitter.com/bOhmD0TxDY

JON KARL: What do you make of Pam Bondi saying she's gonna go after hate speech? A lot of your allies say hate speech is free speech

TRUMP: We'll probably go after people like you because you treat me so unfairly. You have a lot of hate in your hate. Maybe they'll have to go… pic.twitter.com/i2KStu6Vsg
TRUMP: We'll probably go after people like you because you treat me so unfairly. You have a lot of hate in your hate. Maybe they'll have to go after you. He’s also going to Chicago, whether they want him to or not. Oh, wait, he’s not, because the governor of Illinois is a Democrat. He’s sending the NG to Memphis, because the governor of Tennessee is a Republican. He thinks it less likely he’ll wind up in court, losing.
Tim Walz: "I've been telling people since January it's going to get worse before it gets better, but it is going to come to an end. History is not going to be kind to these people. History is going to remember them for what they're trying to do. It's not what they're going to get… pic.twitter.com/pgJ9ejuhm8

History is going to remember them for what they're trying to do. It's not what they're going to get done."Despite the utter nonsense of the Sinister Six, they know their limits. So far they’ve given Trump what he wants without putting their names on it (they think). Hiding behind emergency relief postpones coming up with reasons to support Trump; maybe for years. It’s an act of cowardice they think protects them (Kavanaugh foolishly marked “PAID” to that). Tossing out the First Amendment is another matter, entirely. They invented a new immunity to protect the office of the President (and Trump). Shredding 1st Amendment jurisprudence for Trump is a bridge much too fucking far. History won’t be kind to them, either. Neither, I think, will the people.
