I love Austin, but couldn't it be a little closer to ... other parts of the country?
(Besides, Austin’s in the middle of the state. Try starting from the Gulf Coast, 160 miles to the east. Which makes a difference if you’re going west, but this kind of mileage implies he’s going east. From where I sit it takes 90 minutes just to get out of Houston, if you’re going east. Then again, I’ll drive 200 miles just to get BBQ for lunch. Still, “far away” is a matter of where you start from.)
