All The News That’s Fit To Euphemize

...the shit plane? No?
"Brown liquid"? So, “hot chocolate”? Even “effluent” was too strong for the Grey Lady?

Look, the Times was obviously unable to confirm at time of publication what the brown liquid that looked like diarrhea and that appeared to have been dumped from an AI-generated jet fighter by the president of United was intended to represent in his mind.
Why am I not surprised?

The NYT on the day after the Charlie Kirk memorial service, September, 2025.
The NYT today. The story you’re expecting is on A23. BTW:
After adding new data to our spreadsheet, our central estimate of turnout for the No Kings Day protests yesterday has risen to 5.5 million, with an upper bound of 8.7

Which really puts their editorial decision in perspective.

  1. The Sulzberger family and the guys who get paid the big bucks at the NYT really like those Republican tax breaks. And it should never be forgotten the role the NYT played in the rise of the myth of Donald Trump, including publishing his slander against the Central Park Five calling for them to be executed for crimes they didn't commit to their lies late in the campaign of 2016 sandbagging Hillary Clinton in concert with James Comey. They are as bad as any paper has ever been in many ways. If show-biz were honest they'd do a show in which the NYT played the role of a Jim Crow newspaper in a modern day equivalent of the Scottsboro Boys.
