Now Trump Says The Cost Is $350 Million

Which just happens to be the amount he claims he’s raised. So….

How badly is Trump going to stiff the contractor?

"I ran these numbers in August. Just as a note, this ballroom costing $200 million and supposedly 90,000 ft is about $2,200 a square foot," she wrote Tuesday evening. "In D.C., let's say a level four, maybe a level 5 finish commercial is about $600 a square foot. Let's say on the outside it's $800 a square foot because it's literally being constructed by Craftsman. That other 120 million that'll end up in his pocket. Signed a builder."
I’m familiar with how governments operate. Every penny must be accounted for (well, unless it’s a weapons program). Who’s keeping the books on this? Where are the receipts? Why has the estimate shot up to $300 million? Where is the money coming from, and where is it going?

The donors don’t care. They got what they paid for. And Trump gets to tell more lies to make him look good; to himself.
Oh, and on those estimates and the amount raised , Trump stands to pocket$300 million; assuming he pays the contractors

Trump has been convicted of criminal fraud and civil fraud. Why should we trust him?

  1. I hope that the government will be able to sue the Trump estate to recover the money when we end up paying for all of this. If Trump can make such decisions on his own without the Congress giving legal approval for the spending, HE should be responsible for the costs. I wonder how Amy Coney and her corrupt colleagues will find that power of the purse, taking on obligations that the Congress never approved in their "originalist-textualist" list of lies.
