Remember when the solution was to run government like a business? This is how businesses operate. At least the ones that don’t give a fuck about anyone else.
If they vote Republican after this, that will be what I say about them. I'll hold off till then, and we'll see.
ReplyDeleteNever that I'm aware of have the financial interests of one cabinet secratary, Bessant, in this case, been more obviously driving insanely anti-American policies. Well, other than when the oil interests have given us things like the invasion of Iraq. It's always worst when there's a war or more involved.
Bessent wants to give Argentina $20 billion in exchange for Argentine pesos, which have lost almost 99% of their value in the past ten years, and are looking to be worthless soon. He also wants banks to pony up $20 billion more, but they’re all balking state exposure.

DeleteI almost admire his commitment to giving every single person who voted for him reason to question that choice. It demonstrates his contempt for everyone who isn't a mob boss.
