On Sept. 27, Perry says, CBP informed Broadview police they should prepare for increased use of tear gas on protesters, saying it was "going to be a shitshow." (that's a quote)

On Oct. 5, DHS internal communications stated it was a
“great weekend” and that state police were the “difference makers” in controlling the situation in Broadview, Perry said.

Perry cites the cases dismissed against protesters and other TROs entered against ICE
"In the last 48 hours in 4 separate unrelated legal decisions from different neutral parties, they all cast significant doubt on DHS’s assessment of what is happening on the streets of Chicago."

Perry notes that the evidence shows immigration enforcement is going just fine.
