Incongruous Today

Pretty much Bondi’s entire testimony in one video clip. All that’s missing was her incessant demands of Democratic Senators that they apologize to Trump.

Can she see daylight that far up Trump’s asshole?
No, I wasn’t exaggerating.
There was that. She just had to sit and listen. It was delightful.
Whitehouse: "It obviously makes a big difference when you have a professional DOJ and there's no alleged involvement of the president in a sex trafficking operation. This is different. This is a MAGA DOJ conducting an investigation into a trafficking operation in which the president may well be implicated"
Pam Bondi wants him to apologize to Trump for that.

  1. She also asked Schiff if he was really a lawyer. He answered that Chuck Grassley isn't a lawyer. AI indicates Grassley does have degrees in political science from Northern Iowa, but has never attended law school or practiced as a lawyer. He has listed his occupation as a farmer.

    1. I heard her say that, but missed Schiff’s response. All I could think about was glass houses, and children on playgrounds.

    2. Grassley is a career politician- farmed and worked a couple of factory jobs in his twenties, farmed and served in the stage legislature for another 15 or so years, but over half his life has been spent in Washington D.C.

When Bruce Braley was running to replace Tom Harkin in the Senate, someone got a bit of hidden camera footage of him saying at a private fundraiser, "do you really want Chuck Grassley picking judges?" which of course went over like a lead balloon here... Braley did turn out to be right...

  2. I posed that question to Ralph Nader in 1979 as he was leaving the stage after delivering a lecture on the insurability of the nuclear power industry. I yelled out "Is there a lawyer in the house?
He didn't answer, just smiled and waved.
